  • Are there any particular conditions at which an oil change should be done?

An oil change can be done under any normal conditions. Though, if the weather is cold, it is preferable to run the engine for a few minutes before doing the oil change so that the oil currently in use drains out of the oil drain.
  • What happens if I do not get the oil changed in the vehicle regularly? How long after the oil change can you drive the vehicle?

If the oil change does not take place in the vehicle, the last poured oil will become extremely dirty. As it becomes dirtier, it will start to get less effective. You can drive the vehicle immediately after an oil change has been done.

When you notice that the oil level detector gets too low, you need to get the oil changed in your vehicle. For a new car, the oil change is done every six months or 6,000 miles, whichever comes first. Oil change in any car needs to be done every third month or if it has covered 3,000 miles.
