Affordable Windows phones in the market

Affordable Windows phones may not encompass some of the best features, but they are definitely among the cheapest variants in the market, which makes them highly preferred by lower income groups. Moreover, these affordable Windows phones come with the latest operating system, that is, the tenth generation that has been designed to compete with high-end software.

  • Nokia Lumia 521
This affordable Windows phone comes with a storage capacity of 8 GB that can be expanded using a memory card. However, its internal RAM is just 512 MB, which is nothing if you compare it to other smartphones that encompass a RAM of 4 GB. However, this cheap Windows phone is available for about $64 on Amazon, which is why its sales have been still high.
  • Nokia Lumia 928
This phone is provided for approximately $124 and has a great screen with enhanced picture quality. The tough gorilla glass ensures that you don’t need an additional guard for your screen. The rear camera is impressive with features such as image stabilization for preventing blurred pictures while the front camera has a power of just 1.3 megapixels. However, the presence alone of the front camera makes it better than other affordable Windows phones that are not equipped with this basic feature as well.
  • Nokia Lumia 520
The affordable Windows phone Nokia Lumia 520 comes packed with a Snapdragon S4 processor and inbuilt 4G compatibility. However, this phone loses the race because of the unavailability of the front camera.
  • Nokia Lumia 530
This handset is said to be one of the cheapest Windows phones that comprises of features as low as the price tag. However, it suits the needs of buyers who are on a ridiculously low budget because of its compact nature. It is good for those who do not believe in taking pictures especially in dim light and require a phone for calling and internet purposes.

Some of the other cheapest Windows phones include another variant of the Nokia Lumia 550 which is available for a low as $60 on Amazon. It is very important for the brand to understand that customers are not looking for cheap Windows phones but ones that provide value for money. Therefore, it should make sure that the phones have all the basic features, even though the price has to be increased to some extent for accommodating them.

Windows went into an agreement with Nokia, which didn’t work well for either because both the brands were unsuccessful in making a comeback. It may have picked up sales in the European market, however, in the American market, it has failed drastically. Affordable Windows phones are being purchased by individuals only out of the love they have for their first mobile phone, which most commonly was a Nokia.
